1980 Husqvarna CR420 Works- This is a pre-production CR420 built by Husky Racing USA - San Diego for Scott Hardin's Baja 500 & 1000 races. Pre-production serial numbers, works ported, works 40mm Ohlins suspended, factory works skid plate, big works Hallman desert aluminum tank is excellent, 3.50x21 vintage front tire. Has huge vent holes in fender for air-cooling the motor. Renthal vintage aluminum bars. This is a totally unique and unusual bike, and it is BIG too (you are going to have to be very TALL to ride this monster)! Both front & rear suspension are excellent w/no leaks. Great compression and spark but I have not run it. I purchased this bike from an ex-employee who worked for and bought it from Husky USA back in the '80's when Husqvarna Sweden closed down the Husky USA San Diego operation. Husky USA was responsible for building all of Husqvarna's works desert bikes campaigned by their factory riders. Was then CA titled and desert ridden by him until he put it away and stored many years ago. I also bought a prototype Husqvarna 420 automatic 3-wheeler from him at the same time (already sold it) so I have NO reason not to believe him. Bike is currently unrestored and has a few cosmetic issues, but overall it is really quite decent. I left it as I got it so you can restore if so desired, but you may decide not to just like I did. Rare is an understatement, and when was the last time you saw anything 'works' priced this low?  TITLED $5,900.00

  84 ??? Tu es sur ?   🤔  OUIES noires , c' est un modèle 85 ou 86 équipé d' une fourche inversée . Millésimes de série : 84 en bi amortos . 85 monoshock et tambour a l'avant . 86 idem avec disque avant . 87 réservoir et ouies intégrées et la mème fourche conventionnelle a disque .  Donc 84 ???  A+   😉
